Overview
BrowserRoster respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) in the United States and the Copyright Act in Canada.
Submitting a notice
If you believe content associated with our Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to legal@browserroster.com containing all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it;
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notices
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with equivalent information, including a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your judicial district (or Toronto, Ontario, if you are outside the United States).
Repeat infringers
We will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
